|Meet the Team|
|Rev Sue Keegan von Allmen - Superintendent Minister|
|I have come to Chandlers Ford after 10 years in the centre of London and 9 years in Hertfordshire, and as well as being a minister in this church, I am also the Superintendent Minister of the Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey Circuit.
I trained as a teacher, but then worked as a community worker, before getting involved in mission education in the church. I have always been passionate about justice and peace in this country and overseas. In my last appointment I was involved with work with people experiencing homelessness, poverty and trauma. And my last job before I became a minister, was in a mission agency which supported churches around the world, to bring fullness of life to the communities they served.
When I became a minister in a local church, and later a superintendent, I wanted to continue to do this. God’s longing for all people and creation - wherever we live – is that we should experience life in all its fullness. And that was what I experienced when I became a committed Christian in my early 20s. My life changed, and it continues to change as I learn more about myself, God and God’s world. It’s an exciting journey to be on that I want other people to share.
I hope by sharing in the life of Chandlers Ford Methodist Church – whether you’re a committed Christian or just exploring this website – you’ll discover God’s purposes for you.
