Wildlife Charity Coffee Morning for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and RSPB
Saturday 1st June 2019: 10am to 12noon
We all know about the big issues of climate change, plastics, conserving energy and air pollution. The Wildlife Trusts and the RSPB are two organisations which tackle these issues by communicating with politicians, councils, farmers, builders and developers.
If we care for our world in a way that is good for insects, birds, plants and animals, then it will also be a good place for us. However, wildlife too is under threat.
Each of these organisations have local groups. I chair the Eastleigh/Chandler’s Ford group of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and I serve on the committee of the Winchester and District RSPB group. We seek through programmes of walks and talks to interest, inform and engage local people in how we can care for our world. We are all volunteers, so if you would like to know more, come and meet us in the Dovetail Centre Café on 1st June, 10 am – 12 noon.
To quote the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust: “We know from research across the globe that a healthy, wildlife-rich natural world is essential for our well-being and prosperity”.
This is God’s wonderful world. We should be caring for it.
